This is neat but for the price I kind of wish it came with even large cheap usable play mats as well as the metal ones that are included. You can get a cheap USB DDR mat for like 20 bucks so it's not an unreasonable inclusion. On the plus side it reminded me that StepMania exists.

Some think it's too expensive but they don't get it, this isn't simply a desktop toy to play an 80-90's arcade game like many other minis, it's intended for hardcore DDR fans to give them the full experience at home so it has a big chunky pair of detachable controllers and HDMI out so you can play confortably on the TV and use your own full-sized dance controller if you want.

from what I understand, ZUIKI was the ones that had to handle getting the song licenses and there were several they were unable to get for one reason or another (including some Konami originals, I guess they really didn't want to have their stuff involved with this thing some sorta bad blood with Konami. I think you can use full-size USB dancepads on it as well? I'd be more sold on it with the full songlist, but as is there's too much missing IMO for what they're asking for it.
