I also bought this game and couldn’t figure a damn thing out, I played the tutorial but that didn’t prepare me for the endless waves of zeds with 0 weapons in a 15 mile radius. Like I could never even find a isolated enough area even just to heal. I don’t know if my dumbass jacked up the difficulty or what but I was a literal disabled toddler trying to play this game.

I have to say, part one of this series was what made me look into PZ and give it a try, since it looked so engaging. My first charakter survived about 5 minutes. Fast forward a few months, I now have nearly 500 hours in this game, infected a friend who's now at over 1.200 hours and we having a blast in multiplayer together. I've been a fan of the zombie survival genre since i was a kid (now 32) and i remember when i would give ANYTHING for a game like this. My brothers and i used to brainstorm "what would we do, and where would we go" in a zombie apocalypse and now i'm playing this game with them and having a blast. Oh my god what an incredible story. I am dying to know what was going on at the base that you couldnt show! Ive played this game for nearly a year now and i have never been this emotionally invested and enraptured by it. Your story telling skills are incredible, and the editing for this video was done with so much love for the medium. You didnt have to dull the audio in times of tragety or pain, you didnt have to desaturate, but the editing done here brought this over the top. I love the epic moments, and tragedies of the other survivors. I too play with Superb Survivors and on my character, I had survived 5 months! I had only one survivor in my group. His name was Jake. I had met Jake on day one, he saved me from an undead group of around 11. We survived for 5 months together, but then we decided we wanted to spice things up, we drove to Rosewood, and went to the prison. We had successfully killed what seemed like hundreds of them, we made our way to the armory. Then, our luck ran out. Jake got surprised from behind when he was fighting a zombie behind me, I had my back turned looting the ammunition and weapons. He was screaming, there were so many zombies! As he got eaten alive and trampled, I felt a deep hole in my heart, and had lost my only friend in the apocalypse. More and more kept flooding in, my rifle jammed after about 12 rounds, then I too was swarmed by the overwhelming presence, known as death.

The 'military base', is an unassuming office out in the middle of nowhere. There's only a few things in game currently that tip it off as being a black site, and quite possibly the start of the apocalypse. That being the fact that it's in the middle of nowhere with a gigantic fence and parkling lot, security checkpoints inside with armories, and a ton of bells and whistles for power generation topside, along with two elevators suggesting that there's a ton of space underground. The reason he didn't show you, is because the base has been in game for a long time - but there are still not basements.... Therefore, for now, the only thing there is the boring and honestly not that interesting top portion. However, they are adding basements relatively soon (probably 2-4 months, just guessing) so he may come back to this series and check it out.

It has like a room worth of things to loot that isn't office loot, and functions as a crescendo because the amount of zombies that spawn there number in the thousands on even a normal 1-1 playthrough (as much , if not more than downtown louisville). However, it /is/ also for story purposes. The amount of zombies there, coupled with the new information that we're going to have 16 levels max of building levels from ground floor BOTH ways makes me wonder just how big the complex is gonna be, though. He probably only mentioned it so he could continue the series next update.

Ive watched this so many times. 1st all the way through invested. Then I just keep coming back to it, idk why it's just so good, like my auto play will put it on and I just get reinvested all over again. I know what happens. Heck, practically know the time stamps at this point, it's just so well made. I think the biggest reason is your story telling is just so good I get engrossed and can't stop listening.
