Nice highlight video! Thanks for using restraint, and not putting some crappy music on this. Marcus makes Jameis Winston and Johnny Manziel look like crippled clowns. It's been a LONG time since college football has had this good of a player, and he's a nice guy to boot. I'm a USC fan, but have always liked this quarterback.

The difference between Mariota in the last few season games and the bowl game was remarkable. You could tell he was hurt and tired againts stanford, Arizona and OSU. He was going for it against Texas. Glad he ended on a strong note. Gunna miss Huff and Addison this year though...

Awesome highlight reel, can't help but notice that most of the missed blocks are from DAT. He's not that big of a loss.

Hopefully the Jets are there to take him. Risky to draft a system QB but he's not an idiot and I think he'll adapt nicely.

Pat Etim To be fair, Rodgers would say such because that IS what happened to him, and he did a great job handling it. But Marcus is a smart kid, and has intangibles. SO while you have a point, he should have a better chance than the last few who've tried.

I love Marcus Mariota. I love what he can do. But, I don't like our offensive system. I feel like our offense is too spread, and teams are starting to figure out how to stop spread. Because we have a great QB in Marcus, we need to protect him more. We should not make him run the ball when it is not necessary. We first need to stack the line as much as we can, and let Marcus throw comfortably throw from the pocket. One of the reasons that his completion percentage was so low this year was because he was always uncomfortable. He either had to always worry about running to get away from defensive pressure, or throwing on the run. Those obviously impact completion percentage on QBs negatively. Look at Florida State, who won the title this year. They allow Winston to get comfortable in the pocket, so Winston can be a good accurate QB. Winston only runs when the pocket collapses. I understand that the fault is not just in the system, but also the recruits we get. That's why we need to change our strategy of getting fast and slick guys, to also getting strong linemen. If we wan't to be better offensively, and not get stopped by powerful defenses such as Stanford, or even Arizona, we need to protect MM and allow him to carry us.

@sunny123 I totally agree with you, we need a strong front line to give a good protection
