Really love the first design. Love the fact that the illusion of a pillar within the stonework is created by "shifting" the stairs, if you will. I normally try to avoid those infinitly thin edges. Good work as usual Madnes! Now do one with a space of 2 or 4 heheh ;)

I just want to thank you for all the fun I've had in Minecraft over the last few months, Madnes. I remember first seeing your watch tower video, and copying it verbatim, but over time, I sort of developed my own style, with as much detail and care as possible. (Not as much as you, of course!) Well, that's what I wanted to say, so thanks for all the pro building tips!

One of the things that makes madness' videos great is that he makes them in VANILLA minecraft. No mods, no special custom texture packs, no camera tricks. This ensures the greatest amount of transferability across mods and texture packs. Someone like Jamziboy makes awesome things, but they are good only in HIS custom TP because they use non-common blocks for special textures. Ever load something of his into vanilla MC? Its an absolute cluster fuck, Madness' builds avoids all those problems

If you build with uneven numbers, you'll find out that a lot of things add up really nicely. Oh and madnes, i absolutely love the second design!

When I create medieval buildings I use that stairs design that you showed and I have been doing this for a while so great job on mentioning it because I like it a lot and I think that many ore will :)

Hey Madnes, love the builds. Something I've been wondering (and apologies if you've already answered this elsewhere): how did you wind up with the terrain in Kargeth? Some combination of the vanilla world gen and hand-sculpting?

What about a medieval jail, with torture instruments/rooms?... It's just nice to see you are back, those were excelent wall concepts, i've been using some like these but I included iron bars instead of wood fences, this ones look good for (as you said) the city, small spaces or specific enviroments. 4:10. You could make those upside down stairs into a sewer drain-ish thing by simply removing the block underneath. So rainwater can pour down the sewer. :)

Instead of cobble walls you can use cobble stairs to make it look nice. To substitute the sideways logs just use normal logs. It won't work as well, but it will look quite appealing. You should probably keep experimenting until you get a result you are happy with.

Well, Madnes is more era specific in building. Hypixel and Team Vereide do a wide array of build eras, but I like Madnes more, simply because he pays attention to detail.
