After the more serious Evita and Ray of Light, it was so enjoyable to see Madonna return to her fun side (reminiscent of her early work) with this song. I remember thinking when this song came out that she really can do no wrong - her talent is so massive. Love that you both enjoyed it so much. Cheers!

This was the third time Madonna worked with Mike Myers, I think? They had done some skits for SNL before, one of my favourites is called “Coffee Talk” that is super funny! This song is quintessential William Orbit. It sounds a lot like the liquid mix of Ray of Light and the song Amazing from Music. I feel like it sounds very 60s and fits so well the vibe of the movie. And something about her look in this video kinda reminds me of her early days, specially the Borderline video.

She and Mike always had great chemistry. You have to watch SNL's Coffee Talk and their Wayne's World parody of her Justify My Love video. They are both FANTASTIC and really show of her humorous side. Another one that shows off her comedic chops is her appearance in Will and Grace.

Ladies, please check Madonna at the 1999 MTV VMAs! She didn't sing, just received an award (and presented one too!) but there was a cool and funny bit with drag queens. Madonna's response to seeing drag queens in her legendary costumes was pure gold! You have to see it and hear what she said! :)

It was never featured on any of her studio albums, it was a little project between albums ut turned out a huge hit in most countries. #2 In the UK for example. A real hands-in-the-air song! I remember the girls I knew rocking this look...bare sparkly top, menswear style pant, skinny stilettos. I worked for a clothing manufacturer who made lots of those "going out" tops, so I was very popular whenever I brought home a box of showroom samples 😂
