Oprah ray of light o m g. ... I saw this on a Saturday night with my family. We went to a chippy for diner and by the time we had gotten food and come home she was on BBC.... All my family agreed she was amazing as they had never seen her live.... Wow she is ffffaabbb but omg Oprah ray of light......the best😊😊😊😊😊

❤your fascinating reaction to this video. She performed at least 2 other with similar visuals/vibe to promote Frozen like this one in BBC London; another in the Rosie O’Donnell Show in NYC, and my fave is the one in Madrid for a live Telecinco broadcast (from Dan K channel) where she portrayed Atropos-one of the mythical Moirai goddesses of fate and destiny, in which Madonna wore a crown made of a black vine. I’m so enchanted with her beautiful, classic Renaissance look here (in this ROL era) with her long flowing, swirling golden hair which for me evoked Botticelli’s 16th century paintings based on lovely Florentine women like in his pieces: Birth of Venus, Primavera (Spring), and Pallas Athena.

When you do get to the live performances of the American Life era, you can look for a private concert in Paris for the album release which features her singing live with a band and without any staging or choreography, it's very good

There's also a really amazing show she performed in Australia i think, called Tears of a clown. Its stripped down acoustic versions of that album & some others, which the media didn't understand (obviously) she was "performing" as a clown. I cannot recommend it enough. 'Ray of light' at Oprah next please! And another gem she sings live on that same show from the album 'Little star' about her daughter. Actually the whole Ray of light album from beginning to the very end, 'Mer girl' where she sings about the death of her mother, is more than worth listening to. She's made some incredible albums after this, 'Music', 'American Life', 'Confessions on a dancefloor' and her latest 2019 'Madame X', but Ray of light is just perfect.

Hello girls, I would like to point out 2 appearances that Madonna made at the Rolie O' Donnel Show. the first Madonna Interview - ROD Show, Season 1 Episode 126, 1997 where Madonna talks about her daughter and it's very funny and the second Madonna Interview 2 - ROD Show, Season 2 Episode 119, 1998 you see a Madonna unpublished for a TV show she was very relaxed and funny

You really should watch 2 ray of light performances. MTV VMA is not a good vocal performance but you should see her have a human moment where her voice cracks and does not reach the note. Also she is the queen of the VMAs so you shouldn’t miss it (also she sings a non single cut from album). But then also watch the Oprah performance because she redeems herself and also sings a different non- single album cut. This is a huge album for her career so it’s worth a couple of performances if you can. 😇🤓

Hi Ladies! Haven't watched your concert vid yet. I need to be non committal to everything around me so I can take it all in. 😂 I remember this performance from the BBC. Unfortunately it's not live. I can tell live from lip synch, auto tune, backing vocals...etc. If you play the album version next to this it's pretty much the same. Plus the BBC had some problems when Madge performed during the Blonde Ambition tour that got them into some hot water. I am sure she was given strict instructions. Still fun to watch. Now she does do Ray Of Light live on Oprah. Which was amazing because that's not an easy song but she did amazingly well. ❤ Mark.

So she said she and Kourtney would come home drop their stuff off go next door to Madonna's house take her dogs for a walk and then bring them back. Jimmy asked her whether or not she paid them and Kim K said yes in jewelry. She said they used to bring the dogs back and Madonna would give them a shoebox full of jewelry. Kim said her and Kourtney used to put on all the jewelry and go to school and bragged to all their friends that Madonna gave them jewelry.

Yes not entirely live unfortunately. I don’t think the BBC would allow her to sing live ever again after the live broadcast on the blond ambition tour which left them in deep trouble! This was performed on the national lottery program and it was hosted by the late Terry Wogan who years earlier interviewed her amazingly for the film In bed with Madonna/Truth or dare. There was a very short dialogue between them both at the very end when the audience was applauding (not included here) - he said to her “I think they like you” she replied “ I hope so! “ Great memories thank you..

As others have said, unfortunately this was lip synced but you’ll get LIVE vocals of Frozen on several upcoming tours. Must see Ray of Light era material is 100% the Oprah interview which includes 2 Live songs. But a sit-down with Oprah is a MUST.

During this period the only time she sang this song live was when the Drowned World Tour was aired, otherwise it was always playback. I love the song, I still remember the day the video premiered lol. I wouldn't recommend doing a reaction to the live performance of Power of Goodbye, she did something different with the vocals on it and it didn't sound very good.

Which song did she do at your show? She has been alternating between Rain ( in most of European shows), Frozen and Take A Bow at the US shows shortly before the final of the Celebration tour. Rain was played at my show but Frozen was missed too haha. She just has too many hits for a 2 and a half hour show. I sang my heart out to Rain though.

Unfortunately Madonna never got to perform Frozen live on tv 😢 every performance was lip synced. The only time she performed it live was on Rainforest Benefit with the NYC orchestra, but we’ve only got the audio of that. Next one is Ray of Light, from now on all the performances are fully live! I’d like to suggest either the VMA one because it has an intro with a song called Shanti/Ashtangi and we’ve got Lenny Kravitz on the guitar, or the Oprah version because that one is a vibe!

Nice reaction. I love the Frozen performance from Drowned World Tour and Re-invention tour. She didn't sing live here sadly. From ROL era, the best live performance is from Oprah show of Ray of Light song. I suggest you can skip the live performances from this era and jump to Music album. She sang many songs from Ray of light and Music album on Drowned World Tour.
