Just to clarify: the version you like on the Celebration album IS actually the ORIGINAL Madonna Debut Album Version (with the piano solo). Streaming mucks things up and put the shorter remastered 1991 version from The Immaculate Collection on the debut album version you listened to.

This is not the official video, there was no music video for Holiday. This was for UK TV station Super Channel to promote the single. Yes, as I said, the album version that appears on the first album is THE version, listen to that cowbell and those drums ;) And the guy dancing in this video is her brother Christopher ;)

hi this was an appearance for a tv, actually there is no video of this song, the sweaty guy was his brother who were working together at the time. The gentleman in the background impersonated a painting that comes to life

So Madonna was a dancer first and became a singer kind of on accident. She danced at Alvin aileey and with Martha Graham. The younger brother who is dancing back up will soon become her creative director.😊

Allegedly there was an official video for Holiday but it was apparently so bad that i was never released so the record company used videos from TV promotion. Burning Up is considered to be her first "real" video.

Everyone is just mentioning the guy in the back, being her gay brother Christopher who recently passed from cancer, but the female dancer is her pre-fame friend Erica Bell, these two made the rounds on many track dates for the first album, including dance shows.😊❤
