That was so traumatizing watching it live and the cape bothered me from the start, thinking it didn't need to be so long 😩 It reminded me for the first time what it will feel like hearing M died.

@@ArmandoDimanche the cape incident at the Brits bothered me so much. I had a sleepless night and felt upset for days. I think the only thing that helped was knowing Madonna was okay and seeing her interviewed afterwards on The Jonathon Ross show was helpful

Lucky Star ⭐️ was first Madonna song I obsessed over. My top favs from the first album were Lucky Star, Borderline, and Physical Attraction. I remember having them loaded into my Sony Walkman every time I walked out the door. I literally wore out the tape. Wonderful reaction ladies. See you tomorrow for the finale. 🪩 💞

I was 4 and thought Lucky Star ✨ was about Rainbow 🌈 Brite and that Rainbow Brite was about Madonna so I was indoctrinated early 😻

Fascinated by her childlike whimsical playfulness here with her magical starry cape and the way she pranced around on stage with it smiling and singing-like a pied piper “dancing queen”. In retrospect, it’s so apt for her to sing Lucky Star here because maybe in some mystical cosmic alignment of stars-fate and luck smiled on her, her life and career. Perhaps, more likely her talent, ambition, drive and good karma have blest her with success and fulfillment. I’m happy seeing her happy at this period in her life. I share in your appreciation of and joyful insight to this number.❤😊

The mashup with the Hung Up instrumental is so powerful. Stuart's arrangement for this tour were absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for working out to as well. 😅

Great reaction as always! I like when you talk about Donna with all the love. As well as Niki, they were amazing. I think that all the fans of Madonna love them. I don't know...Maybe you could do a special reaction to a song by Niki and Donna, as a tribute to their years together with Madonna. They made a Rain version, for example... All the love ❤❤

Bonsoir! One more time, an other favorite version...on the confessions tour ! Music of hung up is so.perfect with lyrics of lucky star, and melody too..... It's the last time she sang lucky star .... if i'm not wrong 🤔 We were crazy again and again in the public.... we sang starlight starbright..... 😅😊 But in this video, our lucky star is you both.... we all love you because you're real and authentic. 😊 Ready for the last part..... and i suppose we won't have a video each night anymore! 😢😢 Take care, big hugs from your little frenchy guy

This particular song on this tour just sounds so different, I can't even associate it with that 80s version, same goes for Like a Virgin, totally different songs 😃Hung Up baseline builds up the moment for the final song of the tour, it was a genius move from Stuart or whoever decided to do so 😃 I wonder what would other songs that were rejected for the tour sound like, we know about Everybody, since she perfomed it at KOKO Club, but there's surely been others that underwent "Stuartisation" 😃

Love the point that this last section is like the album! Non stop song after song. I was thinking that this one "retrofuturistic-disco" section is her going back in time chronologically From Music To Erotica To True Blue To Madonna first album (And even ABBA time, before her !) But each song "pregresses" in time, from the Disco Inferno to the then actual (almost 20 years ago now... 20 years...) Hung Up Is like past and future collide, on a present magical moment

so here she's paying tribute to ABBA. In Sweden if you were a musical act you can use the clothes you perform in as a tax write off if the clothes can only be used for performing hence the outlandish stage outfits ABBA wore on stage with the costume inspiration for this being one of the most well known. Benny and Bjorn had only allowed the fugees to officially sample ABBA before they allowed Madonna..

Wait how old is Emily? She said she heard this on the radio but were they play this on the radio in the 2000's? I never heard it but maybe she was talking about an 80s only radio station? Or is Emily older but looks very young? 😃
