The album version of X-Static Process is worth reacting to. It has the most incredible harmonies and it takes you away. X-Static Process was also a photoshoot by Steven Klein that was shown as an art exhibition at the Deitch Gallery in New York, and it's to this day one of Madonna's best photoshoots ever. The session was also filmed and used as the backdrop videos for The Beast Within and Vogue in the Reinvention Tour.

First time commenting here. Forgive me if my english isn't very good. I'm from Brazil and I love your genuine reactions and the beautiful perception you two have of Madonna messages. American Life is my favorite album, so raw with deep lyrics. Madonna has 2 big official documentaries in her career, "Truth Or Dare" that you guys made a great review and "I'm going to tell you a secret" released in 2005... it's the same structure of the first, filmed in black & white with 4 or 5 performances of "Re-Invention Tour" in color. This time we see her in a family dinamic, with a husband and little children. It's very interesting to see how confortable she is at 46 years old. Of course she is a different person again in 2024, after the divorce in 2008 and facing so much ageism. I hope someday we have another documentary to see her in her 70s. I love how she make us think. A lot of people prefer "Truth Or Dare", but "I'm going to tell you a secret" is my favorite, it's beautiful to see her in such a beautiful place around this time, more mature. She's a fascinating human being. Thank you girls, for your amazing reactions ❤

This was great! I hadn't even seen the extra content. Xtatic Process was soooo beautiful 😥❤️ And the thing with that secret community - when Madonna asked "is it positive?" I get the feeling she was aware of those some "fans" out there, luckily a minority, who just love to bash her and everything she does... 🙄 I'm kind of glad she addressed it like that cause it's a real issue and such negativity won't take people anywhere!! One of the reasons it's lovely to watch your reactions Brenda and Emily, is you keep it positive and for me, it's more genuine like that. 👌❤️ So thanks again!

Madonna's answers are always extremely clever. She never gives away anything that might later come back to bite her. Even simple things like "who has more fun, blonde's or brunette's?" She's been both, so simply saying "D'uh!" was the perfect answer. She didn't offend anyone who wanted her to say one answer or the other, and it could be interpreted in any way. She's also careful never to share "in-the-moment" opinion that might change, such as talking about current celebrities. She doesn't know if these people will say or do something wrong in the future, and her endorsing them could be used against her so she deflects the question instead. Very quick thinking, but she does it in a playful way.

What a terrific reaction ladies! I really enjoyed seeing this again, it’s been 20 years since I saw it last. My up close and personal moment with Madonna occurred at MuchMusic studios during her ROL era. She did a interactive interview with a small group of fans, I was lucky to be amongst them. Unfortunately, I was way too terrified to ask her a question, but I was literally 5 feet away from her. Those eyes sparkled! So excited we’re at Reinvention tour!! I can’t wait for you to hear her perform Nobody Knows Me, it’s awesome. She also does a magnificent performance of a song from Evita, which you will love! The stage itself is so cool, it has mosh pits with the fan group right there on the stage with her! Wonder how much those tickets cost 😆 Looking forward to the next video… off to the tour!! Have a great day! ♥️

It’s in these live intimate settings when her charisma, wit and humanity really shine and resonate with her audience. One realizes in these interactions that she’s a true artist who has critical thinking, and as she said, she tries to “live in reality than in illusions”. In the Q&A she passes off on trivial and personal queries but she engages when she can share her philosophy about life. Her answers are rarely superficial and cliché-they’re profound and meaningful-no doubt she’s been on a “journey” in search of answers and she’s been evolving as a person and as an artist. This is what makes her so interesting and refreshing throughout her artistry. These acoustic mini-concerts really gave me a sympathetic insight and admiration for her inspiration and thought process behind her American Life album and it’s messaging rather than the harsh backlash that it elicited at that time. Want to recognize and give credit to her amazing back up band here which included: to her left is Mirwais Ahmadzai on guitar, behind her at center is her guitar teacher Monte Pittman, and on far right on keyboard/synth is Stuart Price. These talented three would be collaborating with her in several more albums and tours. ❤your sensivity and share in your admiration of her artistry in this video.😊

Xtatic Process is such a beautiful, soulful and introspective song of hers. I recall the first time listening to it and getting emotional because I could relate to it. Often times, we get so enveloped with social media and having to compete with others /self that ultimately, we lose our own perspective of self and worth. The song, stripped down with acoustic just hits harder. (tissues needed). Thank you for expressing your own vulnerabilities to complete strangers on this platform. Love your analysis and reactions.

Jodi went on that trip to New York and told me all about it when she came back, I got to see the photo she took with Madonna and of course you got her lower back autographed by Madonna and made a tattoo out of it. We used to go to all the clubs and she would always be showing it off haha what an amazing experience for her, and later for the reinvention tour we would all be heading to Los Angeles and courtesy of her manager I would end up in the front row opening night. The stories and the memories are for a lifetime that's for sure! Such a great time and this performances are some of my favorites from this time! Big hugs!

Its better to watch that that the youtube versions or the bad version of it filmed in Lisbon which she didnt let get released (Its not good). She just released 'Im going to tell you a secret' with the show inside like Truth or Dare. That's the only proper footage and its what she'd want you to watch. (At least first). I saw at the Celebration Tour in Las Vegas on both nights she was there. On the second night, I was on the floor within 10 rows of the center stage. I was wearing a LED halo headpiece much like the one she wore during Nothing Really Matters 😇 I swear she looked at me and smiled for a brief moment while she was singing Don’t Tell Me. This was my 9th Madonna concert and it was the closest I’ve been! I wish I can share the picture. It truly is a magical experience ❤ Again, I am loving your journey and can’t wait for more. She even walked right in front of me one moment when she went to sit with an lucky fan right across me as I was on the aisle seat. Just to think it was almost me, but wasn't meant to be. That was the only tour experience of hers I had to date as I had to travel to NYC to see her. First ever trip on a plane and first time ever leaving South Africa. I will always treasure that day, can't wait till you get to that tour. Re-invention tour was remarkable, looking forward to your reaction. 13:01 So, when she did the HMV pocket concert she said she was gonna do “a classic song, that’s gets with like a…” and the audience commented with Virgin. So she improvised with the band because she hadn’t rehearsed it 😅 she talks about it in the Cantine du Faubourg concert and she ends up doing like a Virgin instead of Like a Prayer, but this time definitely rehearsed! This was the first time she performed this song with the choir and she would do similar performances of this song with a choir in 2005 for the Live 8 concert and in 2010 for hope for Haiti now 😊
