The references to Ryuichi Sakamoto are exquisite, given that he’s currently losing the battle against cancer. He looks very “beautiful” in your context of surrendering to love. Similarly with Issey Miyake and that dress. He passed recently and was very much into the ethics of the breakfast club. Other admirers of this song include Annie Lennox and Bowie. I “feel” that you’ve captured the essence of a classic. For some reason I’m “hearing” Strawberry Fields Forever.
