​​@@maximilian2974She is very average compared with the monster power voices that were back then like Whitney Houston, Bonnie Tyler, Celine Dione, Mariah Carey, Tina Turner and those who sang spectacular such as Sheena Easton, Lisa Stansfield, Taylor Dayne. There were even voices that while not power they sang excellent like Sandra or Carlie Simons, Beverly Craven, Marie Fredriksson from Roxette. I always thought Madonna tried hard and sounded alright but wasn't what one would call singer, to me she could be paired with CC Catch and Samantha Fox, who were not amazing singers but had distinctive pleasing voices that were not the worst but live always felt like karaoke time. Madonna became famous for catchy songs and gimmicks, not her voice.
