I find most powder combinations especially (Corriander,Cumin,Chilli powder) with ginger garlic paste common in many recipies. Other than few extra ingredients like coconut/whole spices, what is major difference ... Please explain I'm new to cooking :)

Today i tried this recipe, but instead of brown sugar i use country sugar, and added pinch baking powder, but yhe dough is like sand consistency, so i added 2 spoon milk... Using IBM otg in temp 170° in 12 to 13 mins. Not so perfect but 80% ok ... Thank you mam... Will improve in future...
