Everyone raving about Mads being an underrated actor need to watch some Danish movies, we've had the pleasure of him for YEARS before all of this 😍
@portishphonic5 жыл бұрын
Danish cinema is arguably the best in Europe and Mads is in some of the best Danish films. After the Wedding, The Hunt and Open hearts could beat anything done in the last 20+ years. Anywhere. In my humble opinion.
@kn92503 жыл бұрын
After The Guilty I knew Danish cinema is a treasure. I have worked my way through quite a few Danish films at this point and am looking forward to the ones I haven't watched yet. And Mads is just a phenomenal actor. I have seen Jagten about five times at this point and he still just crushes me in that film.
@heidimeigs5192 Жыл бұрын
Y’all are lucky…I only discovered him in King Arthur.. been a fan since then. I wish the stupid people in Hollywood would give him a juicy, well written, non villain role. He is a fantastic actor. I love the Danish/European films I’ve seen with him in them. He shines onscreen.
@donovan34765 жыл бұрын
Whether playing a protagonist or antagonist, Mads Mikkelsen is simply phenomenal. A truly gifted and underrated actor. Always entertaining and worth watching. A master of his craft.
@Crosshill6 жыл бұрын
Mads' face just lends itself well to overnatural villain and sympathetic hero, especially when its a hero cast as a villain aka the hunt, or a villain cast as a hero aka hannibal. he just straddles the line so well in the cases where the emotional engagement of the audience is key. when he's playing the everyman, his puppydog/overnatural looks and gentle mannerisms makes him and his character stand out from the setting, creating instant powerful juxtapositions. what a guy

It's supposed to be a fun to watch movie, and it lived up to it. Mads was absolutely terrific in it. People trying to bash it aren't taking it for the over-the-top shooting fest that is was supposed to be. I'm a bit of a movie snob at times, but I completely enjoyed Polar.

My daughter and I love this film, even though it's violent. It's just- fun to watch. The characters from the agency are caricatures, purposefully. Adds a realistic dimension to Mads's & Vanessa Hutchinson's characters. They stand out as well-rounded, sympathetic characters amidst the graphic novel characters. And they two actors are terrific! There are layers to these two characters. Awesome stuff.

I didn’t really like how they did the two parallel stories. I skipped through most of the movie that didn’t have mads mikkelsen in it because I wasn’t interested in the side plot. I liked when the stories meshed in the end. I only wish they would’ve kept them together through the whole movie.

I feel like the interviewer is the one making that weird scratching/ click from the microphone and he’s often speaking too low into the microphone. I’m unfamiliar with the guy all in black, the director?, but he definitely is very Nordic in his look and character and I’d be interested in his film for that aesthetic alone. Love the all black with catchy shoes

I see why Mads decided to take this role, there was potential in it to be good but he must be dissapointed with the finished movie. Davi de Assis newsflash, your fun isnt my fun ? i thought it was pretty underwhelming and done before on nearly all counts- story, dialogue, editing, campy violent acting. even the music was annoying at times and the pacing was goofy. some parts were fun but by the end i was so relieved it was over lmao and yknow what thats OKAY. my “pure fun” campy stupid assassin movie =\= yours. get over it
