I think when they were filming BigBang Scouts, Top was already going through something. He was so quiet at times, looked uninterested and spaced out. Daesung even said he's been trying to make more memories with them. I think that's also the reason why he became so emotional.

Banana Potato he was about to go to military that time, that's why he's extra emotional. You can notice in their promotions that time that he was already wary coz he'll be gone for a long time while his dongsaengs will continue to promote MADE. It's a first for them to be away with each other with limited communication. And they also worry that when they all eventually get back from military, the fans won't wait for them, which we all know now isn't true at all. We all know that T.O.P is struggling with social anxiety disorder, that's why worrying becomes a part of his well-being, but during those times, he was extra worried. And i hope now he has relaxed even just a bit about the fact that everything will be alright, with Bigbang, with him.

Being rejected once because he is fat, may cause his depression. He maybe experienced a very hard time loosing weight thinking he might not join the group. Imagine he didnt even like wearing Tshirts with short sleeves and shorts because he didn't want to show more skin. Then one mistake that he thinks could ease his anxiety, make Korean hate him the most? Koreans were really harsh. They should at least give a person another chance, T.O.P is not a criminal, he didn't steal or kill, he just smoked weed that he thinks it could lessen his depression and anxiety. A lot of idols committed suicide because of depression, at least T.O.P didnt take his own life. I am so proud of this man.

Mrs. T.O.P yeah his love for his mom and sister and their family is so evident and he’s so open about it but his dad is like never mentioned and is never pictured with any of the other Big Bang parents at all and we didn’t even see/ hear of him was TOP was in the ICU. Only his mom gave a statement then and she was at the hospital with him. I know a lot of people were speculating that he is active in military which is why he is not pictured or talked about much but I feel like not even a glimpse of him for so many years is still quite unusual unless they don’t have much of a relationship.
