Madu River | Maa duwa Island & Bridge | Sri Lanka

Madu river is a famous tourist attraction in southern Sri Lanka. The River launched to the Indian ocean in the small town of Balapitiya and river safari, fish therapy,mangroves and island expedition are famous activities to be experienced.
The largest island on the river is called Maa Duwa and has quite a few families living in there. The most significant thing about the island is the narrow bridge which connects the island to the mainland, having only a space to change over 2 motor bikes. If you stand on one side of the bridge it is hard to see the other end and on a evening when the sun is setting, that's not a scenery you wanna miss if you're wandering near by.
