I've come to love the Christmas wrapping paper backs of the Aux Arcs but I definitely had to warm upto them. The necklace your husband made is absolutely stunning! That's so so cute that he made a wee version for your grandaughter. I'm also not super fan of new year. My 'soft launch' new year is Samhain (plans and schemes), I try to be gentle with myself in new year (planting seeds, tiny steps) and do and the real time to start things for me is Spring, just like nature. I do my year ahead tarot spread on my birthday, it feels more pertinent and personal. My mum's a Virgo and her fave colour is yellow! Is that a thing? I also have been thinking a slow stitch journal would be a lovely thing to make but I know it's take me a month of Sundays to ever finish it (I have a load of UFPs as it is). If only I could pull my finger out/was able to follow through on things. Loved this look at your holiday goodies! x

haha yes perhaps I do like Yellow especially Daffodils with their sweet scent. I dont think its the most popular colour but the more I think about it the more i dont think you can look at it and not feel a bit cheerful. I think its a thing to have UFP's when you create like we do - will I ever clear them who knows haha Now the slow stitch journal is something that can be a long long project and may be a good way to play...Im really keen to try some more natural ways (not the usual hand embroidery) I can't believe how many amazing ways there are to play with textile. the best part of slow-stitching is that I can't really make a mistake, well I dont think you can anyway. This deck is Adorable 🥰I think it would be a fun deck to have for the start of 2025. Love your jumper 💖💖Nice job Keith 😊I know what you mean about feeling like your always swimming up stream as i told my husband it feels like i have been fighting all my life in everything i do, so here is to 2025 hoping it is much smoother and i am going to try and let some stuff go. Pick my battles i guess. The worst one is health issues with Dr.'s who just don't listen or care. It is what it is and i am not going to stress myself out more than need be.
