Great video tribute to one of the all time great TV shows. I never see anyone mention this, but Huggy Bear was so much more than just an "informant" for them. His character was a true friend to them both, always there in the background ready to give in any way he could. Antonio Fargus (and of course Bernie Hamilton) showed their genius as actors, for they both took the one-dimensional characters they were handed and turned them into people who will always be an integral part of the S&H story.

"Sweet Revenge" was the last S & T episode and it was absolutely the most emotional. I'll never forget Hutch's grief as he faced the loss of his best friend and his burning desire to avenge that loss. The absolute JOY on his face, when Starsky opened his eyes. Thanks for this walk down memory lane with a tremendous series that will never die as long as we have reruns and DVDs to watch and remember.

Also, that last scene in the episode where Starsky's fiancé was killed, and S&H are sitting on the floor playing Monopoly, David Soul really portrayed his character's sadness/tenderness extremely well. The tears swelling up in his eyes.

Tout à fait d'accord. Et c'est vrai que David Soul et Paul Michael Glaser sont touchants dans cette complicité et amitié qui les lient autant dans la série que dans la Vie❤. On les a sous estimé tous les deux, je pense : les relayant juste dans leur rôle de Starsky et Hutch, même s'ils sont excellents dans cette série, que je regardais en France, tous les dimanches.Paul Michael , que je trouvais sympa et cool, a réalisé des films, puis David : mon préféré 😍 : a joué dans beaucoup de films dont en France et était un excellent chanteur avec une jolie voix : depuis son départ chez les anges😢, j'ai revu plusieurs épisodes de Starsky et Hutch et des films sur KZbin 😍😍❤️.Très triste que Starsky : Paul, soit séparé de son regretté et grand Ami Hutch : David et du décès de David Soul 😢❤

Wow! This is all I can say, having just seen this. I need to take it all in. Wow. I just love Starsky & Hutch, I couldn't be without them anymore. I have the box set and when I am feeling low, I put a DVD on and their friendship warms my heart and makes me feel better.

This was so so great. The two of them fit together like peanut butter and jelly! I cried all trough Sweet Revenge cause at the time I nearly lost my own brother who I love more than anything and that episode just brought it all home. Thanks for posting this it is GREAT!

I have no doubt this is ,if not the best, one of the most beautiful vids about SR. Of course you've done them justice and I regret that you haven't continued to make videos of these two because the feelings you've deployed here speak volumes about your empathy with the series and these lovely characters. I've said it before, SR means for me much more than the latest episode of one television series ... for me Sweet Revenge is a song of brotherly love, about hope and the indescribable fear that losing a loved one could take, the endless pain ... which you've portrayed with uttermost tenderness. The video is touching, exquisite, adorable in their little details and delicacy, ethical, and its immense vastness lies in the love that you so well showed and appears in the incredible choice in music and the finest of editing. The atrocity of the attack is devastating, how to boot someone from your side as well? from one moment to another? so drastically? that is what captured me from SR and you've honored it beautifully. Those nice touches at 0.22 and 2.26, the white glows fading, the voices... brillant and beautiful just beautiful. Thank you

All time favorite series. Growing up watching this I always wanted this type of friendship with someone. Never found it...but, rewatching the series on DVD since David Soul passed has brought back so many great feelings and memories. This is a beautiful video!

wow :) love that song, love them. that show really showed the point of friendship, as they also did in real life. I am 19 years old. Just started watching Starsky & Hutch online. it was never meant to be about S vs.H - originally my comment was that this vid made me feel better about Hutch - coz when I watched the series many years ago, I found the 4th season to be disturbing to my understanding of their partnership - don't get me wrong - I love them both but when I watched on Network Tv it was a different experience than watching on Dvd now..... God I love them both - never ever believe differently and this vid is absolutely amazing, the creator should to be proud....

this is an Awesome video, I am a HUGE longtime fan of Starsky & Hutch, and I love BOTH of them, but had a HUGE crush on David Soul (Hutch), STILL do after all these years, he still looks good to me, they both do... I miss the show and them (although I now have the DVD collection from the show, all seasons... lol). They used to COVER my bedroom walls, ESP Hutch... brings back sweet memories of my youth, am now 44... their onscreen chemistry was amazing, and they are still friends today... NICE!

This is Phenomenal! You showed at a quick pace all the times they were there for each other. I loved how this served as memories (the build up) & then he woke up. This must have been a very emotional episode for all our boys knowing it to be their last. You really did a fantastic job in bringing out emotions when they thought he was going to die. i fail to realise how some people turn this into a competition of starsky vs hutch, hutch lovers vs starsky lovers. there are no sides, if u love one u love them both, no favourites here. choosing one over the other is the same as being against them both. it just doesn't work. that's how the guys are.

Wow, I can not understand how I missed viewing this all the months I have been viewing Starsky and Hutch videos on KZbin. You MUST have a great talent for cinematography because you say this was your first and yet looks flawless / spot on to me. S&H got me through an extremely rough era following my dads death back then(an integral distraction) and people like you are helping me again. Keith Urban, Dido and Lena Meyer-Landrut are mostly the musical. Gotta go hit the subscribe button. :)

I think that was brilliant for a first time attempt, great video, should have perhaps ended when the song was finished and Starsky woke up instead of carrying on showing the same clips without the music, nevertheless as I said - brilliant !, it really makes you feel for both cops and I love Starsky and Hutch so much that it hurts !
