This album is 20 years old. I was much older than most of their fans at the time. I was 25 then. The way time has flown by. Growing up in the 80s, this would be like music from the 60s for me, thinking that was old. Now it's my term.

I was born in 05 and I remember my emo dad showing me this album on a cd player in a Honda civic. I introduced it to my roommate and partner, and bonded over growing up on this kind of music. Now my dad and my love have both passed on. But I feel them come alive when I play this music.

I’ve already commented, but wow! Even five years after posting that comment. My daughters do love this songs, and even my son has taken to liking it. Such a timeless midschool classic. It does take me back to HS, sitting in the hallway listening to the CD on my Sony Discman with :30 second skip protection. I’ll never not love this band, and their songs.
