I do wonder how Artadi sounds live when you're actually in the audience, as in all live recordings she sounds pretty bad.

Most of the mics on these phones compress the sound levels. You've got loud pounding on the drums and the phone compensates for this. I have seen the power duo show and the vocals were good, but recordings of it on youtube sound terrible.

@@lazygazzzer I saw them tonight and OP is correct, she sounds pretty weak live. Like if you already know the songs it's good enough but she doesn't project her voice well, which explains why you don't notice it on studio recordings.

You seem nice. Can you point us to your channel where you create original content? Artadi is an incredible and consistent vocalist / songwriter. Knower (the vibe and sound) would be nothing without Artadi like the White Stripes are nothing (dont exist) without Meg White, and Meg quit because of people exactly like you.

@@chynaginger Yeah she's great and writes great songs. That's why I go see Knower live. She's not a great live vocalist.Meg White is a total non sequitur BUT she sounded just the same live as on record. So really dumb comparison on your part.

@@broadcastdeez Well that's true, she doesn't belt out the songs, but what she does is integral to KNOWERs sound, and a whole load of other projects she's been involved in. Her back catalogue is huge, and from what I understand she's in demand as a guest vocalist. I would say this is precisely because she doesn't want to bring this big lung style that's got so popular due to shows like the X factor. Her voice has got a little coarse over the years - it would be absolutely finished if she'd been yelling all this time. In her early years her voice was noted for it's clarity - she used to compete in acapella tournaments. There's a load of her stuff on youtube that people have no idea even exists.
