I too purchased these dies before the show and also the bicycle dies. One can always get a refund if the price drops. I have been enjoying the bookmark dies. I have doubled the paper and then gold overlay helps make them stronger.

I did what you did. Got before craft day. This you could use to make little gifts for coworkers and friends. Do you think the body of the paper clip bookmark should be double layered? U haven’t used mine yet

Absolutely! In fact, I’m making some for my friends who have so many teacher edition books to use. For the paper clip one, I used Anna’s paper which is pretty heavyweight but I don’t think it has to be. I wouldn’t use text weight paper but 80lb paper would be enough to make it sturdy enough to last longer. Hope this helps! 🥰

Should the bookmarks be laminated?

They don’t need to be but laminating them would help them last longer. For the paper clip style, you would need to cut where it tucks in between the pages or just keep it as a regular bookmark so you don’t need to cut it. 🥰

To make sure we’re on the same page, can you give an example of what you mean by alternative projects? As for me, I have tutorials of “outside the box” with some Anna Griffin dies on my channel. Also FunTime Crafts 365 has some as well on her channel. Hope this helps! 🥰

Anna I purchased the Carte Noire Card making Kit but I accidentally ordered the refill kit and therefore I do not have the oval die set. Can I purchase that separately?
