Thank you for your story, Steve. Another Ahead user here. I have the TC and the WOS pairs, they are awesome. But i want to make something more. Maybe adding more weight or more length. I have the Regal Tip AVH signature wood pair, 18" length but omg... after storing in my warehouse for a couple of years, 1 stick bended quite a lot. It lost about an half or 3/4 inch of length compare to its normal state.

It's been ahead drumsticks since I started. The pain aspect comes from overplaying.

Steven Maestro Robinson I know man i am having such a hard tome playing. I trust ahead because after 6 spine surgeries the gspine is the only throne I use so I hope the sticks help my other issue. Oh and you’re awesome by the way!!!!

These are great well balanced Ahead sticks. Great weight. I don't care for the ball tips though.. I change them out. If you are a hard hitter they will dent your heads... Fast. Luv these sticks otherwise

Thanks so much for the kind words! The ball tips are a personal preference, because I love how they sound on cymbals, and they give the drums a more direct attack. My drumheads don’t dent too much-outside of normal wear; but I play 2-ply heads and use proper techniques so that I get the most out the drumheads and sticks. 👍🏽
