Wish it had a John Henry headsculpt. There was that scene where he was unmasked during the siege on Engine City, Clark recognized him immediately and this showed John that mulletman was the one true Superman. They did the “Dillon you son of a bitch” hand gesture and instantly became bros.

Yep this figure is straight fire, I got mine in about a week ago, and I was floored at how spectacular he looks, feels, and moves. My only nitpick was that I would have loved an unmasked head, but other than that this figure is just about perfect! Awesome photos at the end as usual!

The metallic and silver paint on this line, from black suit Superman, Cyborg Superman and now this steel, is the most striking I have ever seen in this scale.

Mafex have made the definitive versions of Storm, X-Force Deadpool, Nightwing, Magneto and this Steel, which is the best of them all. 2023 1/12 scale DC and Marvel comic figures market is *owned* by Mafex!

Steel is one of my favorite DC characters. And this is bar one of the best Steel figures ever made. I'd really like to see Eradicator, Superboy, and Supergirl - maybe Doomsday??

My most anticipated MAFEX of the year! I hope they release Superboy sooner than later, but I can see them releasing Eradicator first since it's a pretty simple repaint option. Also for anyone annoyed at the cape over the shoulders, Bogdanove drew the cape pretty high up over his shoulders so they are actually pretty accurate as is. My one gripe with the figure is the lack of blasting/shooting effects for his left wrist gauntlet and spikes, which he used pretty frequently and goes with the whole "John Henry, the Steel Driving Man" motif.

I am so very glad that Superman has another friend which is non other than Jeremy Irons aka Steel because he is a cool person with a dope ass Superman suit armor and all MAFEX needs to do now is make a Kon-El Superboy and the Eradicator because they are needed to finish The Reign Of The Supermen era, Great review on this 90s Steel action figure from Medicom MAFEX D Amazing.

First, great review as always D. I just got mine yesterday, and wow, this might be my favorite DC Mafex figure to date. I am biased (granted) as Steel was a favorite of mine growing up. I loved his initial solo title and was mildly hurt by the mid-ness of the Shaq film. John Henry Irons is perfect in Mafex form!
