My orginal version that I bought a year ago(?) has the same cheap white Xmen logo on the front. I bought mine from Big Bad Toystore so I'm pretty sure it's not a bootleg. Also, my brown -suit Mafex Wolverine has the same white X-man logo on it too.

Mine has some loose legs articulation, so the first time I tried displaying him, he fell and his effect broke from his visor... i had to glue it back

So much better than legends Imo… I sold my VHS Cyclops because I felt it was incomplete, he doesn’t come with an angry head or any effects just 3 sets of hands (one incomplete). The Mafex I know is critized for his proportions but honestly I like it a lot. The blue that they used is outstanding (imo), he has all the accessories I’d expect from a Cyclops figure and overall the articulations are superior (especially the butterfly joints).

imo ML one looks much better in body proportion than this, the crouch articulation is even better... and the price of ML is a win. 😉

I agree. The proportions on the Mafex are kinda terrible not to mention those old man looking head sculpts.

but for some xmen character, unfortunately ML didn't deliver quite well.. mafex magneto, gambit and psylocke are better choice.. p.s. hoping ML will renew the psylocke with new female body

I don’t think it’ll be on clearance lol many people would buy it regardless. My copy had his right bicep not completely plugged in. Tried to push it in and that didn’t help. It eventually fell off, I was pissed but then warmed up the pieces and was able to plug it in all the way. Let it cool down and It hasn’t fallen off since but I’m still being careful. Figure looks nice but not perfect. Sloppy paint lines and the random Mafex Q.C. issues. They need to do better for the price these figures go for.
