Uncanny Deadpool is probably the last time I enjoyed Deadpool as a character. He's funny without being too obnoxious and his characterization is very in-line with the tone of the book. He's serious when he has to be.

A great fig. The new sculpt is very accurate to the artwork and makes a difference to how special it feels when unboxing for the first time.

Because people prefer the more traditional colours. But this is the best Deadpool in 1/12 scale and the X-Force Wolverine is better than the brown or tiger stripe versions because of the more accurate, shorter, squat build.

That X-Force Warpath looks so cool. I don't know if they would be able to match those good proportions too well nowadays. Loved the pic of him posing with thumb lol Little feedback? xD when you do the close up to the sword-holding hands, the audio does change and it may be due to the location of the mic. I know you care about that, just wanted to let you know!

Hey I appreciate the feedback! I need to do a better job of making sure the mic is in the same place all the time. I tend to speak a little “softer” when doing the close ups…that’s a good excuse right?!! Haha Thanks man! I’ll clean it up!

My Fav Deadpool figure so far : 1. Mafex Deadpool (X-Force & Red) 2. SHF Deadpool 3. Marvel Legends Deadpool Juggernaut Wave (Red) 2016 4. Yamaguchi Revoltech Deadpool I love everything about Deadpool, i love hot toys Deadpool too but they have issues about his Synthetic leather

This looks really nice. I have the red version and the legs felt like they were going to snap off at the waist until I oiled them. Also, I’m pretty sure the swords are different 🤔 Thanks for sharing!

Yes the red version has a pair of katana swords. This fig has the wider bladed butterfly swords.

You got this guy in some beautiful poses, props for that. When I got mine I got him in a pose I liked and he hasn't moved since, I might have to mess around with him a bit more.

I love the OG red a bit better cause it's his color, but this figure is better quality wise since it's 2023 MAFEX not 2019 MAFEX. Hopefully Wolverine stays in stock for a bit. I sorta want him but I can't build the whole import team beyond these 2.

The two heads you think look too similar are actually quite different. One is more serious and squinting, angrier looking. The other you can tell hes happy, either smiling or laughing under the mask.

I mentioned that they have different facial expressions under the mask, I just think the differences are a little too subtle.

@@UnparalleledUniversei agree but, those are two necessary facial expressions for the character, he needs a serious squinting expression and he's iconic for his happy squinting expression, they're similar but they're both necessary to the character and neither could serve both purposes

I’m late to this review but yeah dude that X-Force run is top tier! It was some of my favorite version of all of those characters. Wolverine was a savage in that! And it showed Deadpool’s best personality traits more than just the slapstick Deadpool stuff that we get more often.

The 2 modern grey/black suited X-Force teams are badass just like the X-Force from the Rob Leinfeld 90s era and the MAFEX Deadpool is cool, Hopefully Hasbro can do an updated X-Force Deadpool because I cannot afford the price on all MAFEX figures despite Hasbro prices are to high, Awesome review though Wade

Great review and pics. Can’t wait to get my Deadpool and Wolverine. Hopefully the excess of guns that come with the shf Deadpool 2 figure aren’t too small. Crain is one of my favorite comic artists. His Ghost Rider books are crazy too.

I got him, X-force Wolverine, Storm and Cyclops today. All great but Deadpool is by far the best. Got him posed with the pistols from my Revoltech Deadpool

Lol. You got great taste. I got all four together early May and was expecting the least from Deadpool, yet he turned out to be the best. Then I got Nightwing, Steel and Magneto during the following 3 weeks. And we got Thor and Scarlet Spider due this month! Whooo... Mafex on a roll, dominating the 1/12 scale comic figure market in 2023.

Best figure from them so far this year. The new engineering makes for a smoother figure and the joint in the elbow is cleaner. Idk why they didn’t do the same with the recent Cyclops & Nightwing figures… maybe they were made before but delayed? But anyway yea this is an A1 action figure. Hope they make his DC counterpart (& source material) Deathstroke and Red Hood soon. Good review as always!

I would say it was Mafex's best figure of 2023, until I got Steel and Magneto. And there are no other comic figures due this year from them that look like they could beat them. Both have zero qc, issues and have new moulds, better articulation and more accessories. Mafex are on a roll
