Gambit is the only X-men Mafex I have, so far. He’s a really dope figure. I’ll be looking forward to your take on him, whenever you come around to getting/reviewing him. a lot of people in a fb group I’m in for Mafex, deem it the best Mafex ever. Personally still prefer the hush Batman and Superman.

@@JustinsCollection I understand that's your opinion but damn mezco wolverine is much better than the mafex, mafex claws are too long, the tiger stripe is wrong color and done poorly as it breaks up the pattern everytime you use the butteflys and its factory painted. The mezco is hand painted and tailored to fit like a real human, the best claws, headsculpt and accessories on the market for 1/12 scale. Just a surprise that someone who collects hot toys with fabric, doesn't appreciate their smaller counterparts. They are done so well

As I've said many times the tiger stripe costume wasnt a Jim Lee design, it was John Byrne if I'm not mistaken and was late 70s/80s.. Jim actually began drawing Wolvie in the brown costume

The biggest issue I have with all Wolverine figures and statues is the claw length. Hold those claw hands up facing in the other direction, so the blades are facing back up his forearms, then ask yourself how does Logan bend his elbows when his claws are retracted? It’s not just this one. Most figures or statues (statues in particular) do this. That’s why the only Wolverine I have in my collection is the very first Iron Studios 1/10 statue. His claws are just a bit shorter than his forearms, so it looks like it could actually work.

Actually Justin, I much prefer the blue stripes to the black but it's a moot point anyway as I'm using the 80s brown suit version for my display because that's my GOAT Wolvie! Re. the long claws, I took it that their inspiration for this one was the exaggerated art from the Marvel vs Capcom games, rather than the comic per se. So hyped for Phoenix next month!

Really wanted this guy but I was only able to find it for over 120, and I didn’t feel like he came with enough to justify that for me right now considering I got both Knightfall Batman and Bane for around 120 plus shipping. Well if we are going to go nuts, you should do a review of the Mondo Masters of the Universe 1/6th figures. He Man with Battlecat and Skeletor with Panthor are absolutely top notch representations of the IP. These Mafex figures reminded me of them, while watching your review. 😀
