it could be extremely interesting in the future if game developers start utilizing Ai to run unique rendering effects on their games such as this video. Obviously not as janky but i could see it being used as a visual tool in the future for things like colour grading and just the overall atmosphere of the world & environment.

Maybe eventually, something like this will get integrated into the actual rendering pipeline of the game engine. That way you could make it only generate specific things and give it more information about the game environment. E.g. have it generate only shadows, or only reflections, or only the main character. That's probably how real-time AI implementation will grow, step by step untill it's capable of actually generating the entire image in real-time.
