I have seen no exaggeration probably 100 interviews of Michael. This is by far the best and most thorough one I’ve seen. Fantastic follow ups that got more out of Michael than I’ve heard in the past. Still keeping certain things close to his heart and under his sleeve, but you got out of him as much as he was going to say. Fantastic work and looking forward to watching more episodes!

This is just like a father and a curious son’s conversation. I love how Steve curiously navigated his questions, with curiosity, excitement, but with utter respect for the complexity of what the answers could be given the nature of his guest. Totally enjoyed this episode Steve! Very well done!

As I was listening to Michael, I don't think that's the kind of life he really wanted to live. I feel like it had something to do with his dad. Maybe he wanted his dad to be proud of him, or he just wanted to be seen by his father. His dad's opinion of him was really that important to him. I see a very intelligent man, one who would have gone far in life even without joining the 'Family'. He is business minded, and he is capable of building something from scratch and make it work.

Fascinating. I have heard Michael's stories many times before, but I enjoyed the way you interviewed him in a non-sensational style. Still, as a former journalist, I have so many questions that people haven't asked Michael yet. I'd especially like to know what the US government does with forfeitures. It's the same with drugs, they get many millions at times. So, what happens to that cash, AND, does this not mean that the criminals are working for the system, propping it up, helping to bolster budgets? Therefore, the mafias and drug traffickers are indispensable, not to mention, they get people promoted and win politicians elected. Hence, the War on Drugs, cost 2 trillion worldwide (about 1 trillion in the US), even though totally ineffective, cannot and will not be stopped despite the millions of deaths it causes through murder and ODs (the money could be better spent on treating drugs as a health crisis). It's surely the same with the mafia. The government needs crime like crocodiles need animals that can't swim too well. It's a crooked system, which is why they use informants and allow a certain number of people to get away with crime, while arresting a number of others. It's a pyrrhic victory when they win, an endless bloodbath, they don't want to stop because the biggest losers are the poor. I'd like to know Michael's feelings about this. I have so many more questions I'd like to ask, ones I don't think he's been asked. BTW, I had a friend who spent many years in a prison in a poor country that is notorious for horrible prisons. He got extradited back to the UK, where he had to spend 23 hours a day in the cell. He said while the UK was super clean, the time there was so so much harder. At least in the poor country, with its holes in the ground for toilets, with the danger, you got to wander around and talk to people. Solitary, I would guess, is much worse. P.s. I hope you don't do anything illegal in your life these days, because your political thoughts are enough to get smeared, and then finished off if the smears don't work.

Thank you for having the courage to discuss the topics mentioned in this episode! I really commend the guest for deciding to follow a different path and choosing a different way of life. I can't imagine some of the personal struggles he may have gone through before reaching this point, but I'm proud of him for having the courage to choose a completely different path in life. I think sometimes it can seem easier to choose to stay in the path or life that we're used to. The "famiiar" is a very comfortable place to be, but we may not realise we are indirectly choosing to remain "stuck" and thereby sacrificing our peace of mind or better future in the process. I've come to learn that the "comfort zone" does not help you grow or to lead to a fulfilling future. Some circumstances in life may leave us with very little options, so I don't judge or condemn anyone who may have been in a similar situation as the guest of this episode. I just hope that if they are ever given the choice to choose a different life, that they would have the courage to do so. Time is precious and life should not be taken for granted. Nobody is promised tomorrow. We all come into this world free and even God gives us choices. In my opinion, anything that takes away your inner peace or joy is not really worth it. ❤

Yeah, he's a really interesting guy but he literally says all the same things in every video he's in like it's a perfectly memorised script at this point. Have you watched it yet?

@@DrewJordan. he's got a whole channel of them. I'm not saying he's making anything up... just that a lot of his stories he retells pretty much word for word the same every time. If you've watched one interview with him you've seen most of them.

Respect to Mr. Michael for speaking his truth as much as he could. It is inspiring listening even though sometimes we listen and might not always learn new factual information. Many times, these conversations take you through the life challenges of a person to inspire another perspective that gives you strength in looking forward. Needed this thanks Steven. Your brain was cooking. I bet you worked out prior 😄❤

Great video! I really have a question. For someone with less than $10,000 to invest, how would you recommend we enter the crypto market? I am looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What's your take on this approach?
