The nurse cannot save anyone else consecutively, that doesn't make any sense or does it make the game fair. The nurse could save the cop consecutively after finding out who the cop is, it gives an advantage to the town. The actual rule is that self-healing in a row is banned, so is saving someone else in consecutive rounds.

Wikipedia says nurse can't save the same target on successive nights. Like if the cop outs himself, you can't keep saving him every night. I don't know if JK plays things differently, but according to Wiki, Julia should've won.

The problem with wikipedia article is that it shows how the game itself has many variations, with even more roles. So that's not a rule set in stone. And I think the most common one is just that the nurse can't save themselves twice in a row, but doesn't matter for others.

Then if I were the cop I'd just out myself right away so the nurse would have someone to save every round. Then I can freely check who's safe and who's not until they found the nurse.

boredoreos not really, because the mafia still can choose whether to kill the cop or civilians. It'll just make the nurse more stressful since they need to make a hard choice to save the cop at that round, or someone random.

If I don't out myself as the cop, then they have to make that stressful decision anyway. And it's even more stressful because they don't know if they're healing a mafia or not. Better to out myself, give the nurse a target to heal besides themselves, and then be able to check someone every round and then eliminate the mafia by process of elimination. Unless the nurse dies by chance it's a full proof plan.

Actually that would be crazy as hell, mix werewolf and mafia. Also include the sheriff and have the sheriff and detective wake up at different times (the detective wakes up earlier, of course.) And have the werewolves wake up before the mafia, but to balance it, have one more mafia than werewolves. Also have the two doctors on "shifts" - one wakes up after the werewolves and the mafia, the other wakes up after the detective and the sheriff. werewolves, mafia, doctor #1, detective, sheriff, doctor #2 I would split up the doctors because "saving someone" elicits a lot more emotional reaction than "killing someone", and two doctors awake at the same time is probably noisier than anything else.
