My grandfather told me it's all as a result of apartheid. The Africans will toil all day throughout the week and during that little time they got they would come together to sing and dance those songs that they composed. I was living overseas when Mafikizolo was hot in the early to mid 2000s. I get fascinated watching these videos bcoz abroad we only had access to cassettes or CDs. There could never be a SA, Zim or Bots party without this music playing. RIP Tebza.
