I love Dave's story about building a relationship with the kids while waiting for the medical team to do their work. This is real missionary work 101.

@ednajuran8247 Thanks! It is good to know someone is advocating for the plant. It is looking a little sad these days, so I am not sure how much longer we have with it. :(

Remember, you’re the one who brought up the plant!😂 Having been married to an US Air Force aircraft mechanic for almost 49 years, I think that set is way too clean. How about some toolboxes that look like they’re actually being used in the background? I understand you’re not a mechanic, and having someone working in the background would make noise and get picked up by the microphone, but it would show people who are not familiar with that environment what it really looks like. I really enjoy the podcast and feel that it helps me to “get to know” people who have boots on the ground in Idaho as well as at the ends of the earth. I like that you engage MAF members and their families, not just about the mission, but about their everyday lives and what God is doing in their hearts as they follow Him. I am an Advocate, so when I say I pray for y’all, I really mean it. Thank you for doing the podcast.

@ThetisHoch Haha! Indeed, we did bring up the plant. :-D We truly appreciate the time and work you've put into supporting MAF, and all the prayers are such an encouragement! Love the input about the set! Indeed, the hangar is put to good use when we're not filming in there...although, we do encouragement the hangar staff to come in if they need to grab something or check out an airplane -- as long as they don't rivet, other hangar tasks would be fine. I think the mechanics are camera shy, however. :) Moving into 2025, we definitely will consider your words about the environment and see if we can get some staff to work on a plane in the background or something. Thanks again!
