Hopkins Girls Basketball with Paige Bueckers play Cooper Hawks in the 2020 Section Semifinals

Cooper met Hopkins at home in the second round of the Section 6AAAA semifinals on February 29. Hopkins advanced with a score of 89-47. Paige Bueckers led all scorers with 24 points on 11 for 12 shooting. Bueckers added 9 assists and 4 steals to her stat line. Senior guard KK Adams added 11 points making 3 threes. Sophomore point guard Amaya Battle was steady with 8 points, 3 assists and 4 steals. Taylor Woodson scored 13 and Maya Nnaji netted 18 points and 7 boards. Cooper finished their season with a 19-9 record while Hopkins moved on to face Wayzata in the section championship.
