Magatia's Alchemist | MapleStory Medal Guide

A couple important notes: 1. The prefix "[Magatia's Secret]" was added in-game to all the required quests in this video. 2. There are other quests in this area, but they are not required for the medal. These will have "[Magatia]" as a prefix instead of "[Magatia's Secret]". The only set of [Magatia] quests required for the medal are Parwen's "Verifying the Password" quests; everything else can be skipped for the medal. 3. These quests can be done simultaneously unless stated otherwise (note that Part 1 must be done first for the rest). Some of the quest requirements (kills and drops) were reduced after the Destiny and Milestone/Chaser/Ride or Die Updates, meaning this video is slightly out of date. However, the order is still the same, so I will keep this video up as-is. The changes are as follows: - Part 1: Joining Zenumist and Alcadno - number of Mesos for each of Han the Broker's quests reduced from 10,000 to 1,000 (total of 3,000 instead of 30,000) - Part 2A: Helping Out Bedin - number of Flaming Deserts reduced from 50 to 10 - Part 2B: Getting in the Way of Alcadno - number of Reinforced Mithril Mutae kills reduced from 200 to 20 - Part 3A: Russellon's Items for Experiment - number of Rumo's Leaves reduced from 10 to 5 - Part 3E: Han the Broker's Info - number of Mesos reduced from 50,000 to 5,000 - Part 4: Parwen the Ghost - number of Saitie kills reduced from 200 to 20; number of Entry Passes reduced from 100 to 10. In addition, the password is now only 4 characters long and only needs to be entered in one of the two Secret Passage doors (either one will do) instead of both - Part 5D: The Hidden Words - you no longer have to hunt Homunscullo for the blood, as Alcaster will now give it to you immediately - Part 5E: The Black Mage's Magic Pentagram - like Part 5D, you no longer have to have Homunscullo or D. Roy for the Magic Stones, as Alcaster will now give you them immediately. In addition, the Unknown Underground Passage is simplified so that you can simply walk to the right.

The snow rose quest isn't required for the medal. There's no reason to update the guide.

7:33 - that password doesn't work -i exactly did as you wrote - don't know what wrong with him- can't make a quest

It's case sensitive.

@@pirateizzy I was looking forward trhough "available" quests and I couldn't find any. I have no more quests in Magatia. The only one left is Humanoid A's Human Enough which somehow I can't finish

Try to go to the map with Parwen, you definitely missed a step somewhere.

Try to check different channels, usually you have to kill a Neo Huroid or two to summon D. Roy.

I literally took a screenshot of the passcode Parwen gave me for the secret passages and it didn’t work at both locations.. has anyone else has this problem? I’m so lost

Remember that some letters and numbers can look similar. If you want to get a new code, you can forfeit the quest and accept it again.

It's so weird. I'm in zenumist lab unit 202, waiting for homunscullo to spawn, but it's been 30 minutes and still not a single one spawned

Try to check different channels and kill a Homunculus or two to trigger the spawn.

You need to follow the steps in Part 4 to access the Secret Passage.

Homunscullo spawns at Lab - Unit 202 in the Zenumist side (you can use the world map to help you). The Mystic Gate version can only be accessed if you've done the Silent Crusade.
