As always thank you for the excellent content. I had no idea the turret outer rings had 'ac'. 90 degrees though? How hot would it get without ac?

It varied based on the sea temperature, outside surface heat absorption from the sun, and the compartments proximity to the boilers. But generally the temperature will peak around 100°F to 120°F and that's with forced draft ventilation.
