Was it really a distraction, Kit chewing the gum. I don't really see it was. What I saw was an amazing , awesome group of actors. They met the needs of their fans signing autographs, pics and lots of laughter. Kits gum never stole the show. HEARTSTOPPERS TRULY GAINED A POWERFUL FOLLOWING.
