Update: I've had some more time to digest certain aspect of the album. Image has REALLY grown on me for one. The bass is great and so is the drop. Image is as good as D&R and AoaS. Fear Sex has also grown on me, love the melodies and the Vaporwave esc chopping. I wish it was longer. It basically functions as an interlude almost. Outro was pretty much reused from I think "Halfway." Transitions on the album aren't nearly as good as Mercurial World but are ok. I'm noticing more obvious Dance influences rom different areas, like Disco for example. Still not amazing, but I think I can bump Imaginal up to a 6 MAYBE a VERY LIGHT 7 from the original 5.

My album of the year and it’s not even close. Great reaction!

I think it’s a decent album, but not a masterpiece, and even after 3 listens to this album, I still don’t understand the hype.

Agreed. I noticed "This Album is a Masterpiece" has been being said a LOT more often the past few years. I felt the same about Brat from Charlie xcx although I didn't do a video on it. I think peoples standards or music have gone down a little bit. Might be a side effect of hip-hop and/or cheaper music being mainstream for so long. Music is more of a product more then ever these days, and it's starting to show with what people think music is and how they treat it.

@@DaleSalvador or people just love this album and you don't, music is subjective🤯🤯

@@gonko638 Yeah it is. But something can be well liked and still be bad. When looking at an album there's a difference in looking at it critically and casually. I can say critically this album is OK. Casually it's way better and although not my personal taste, most people love it and that's great. Vice versa, things can be critically good and casually hated as well. For example Nickelback is casually hated, but critically it's good. Chad's voice is amazing, the guitar tones are top tier, and they're catchy songs. It's simply Pop/Rock not trying to be mind-blowingly complex or innovative and it's great at just simply being Pop/Rock music.
