You get a +1 synergy regardless of which hero you put it (as long as its on the board), and or they could've been using it for rune powerups for Zilong, It doesnt make him stronger in terms of increasing his base lancer attributes, but it helps in synergy count, and rune

Not sure youll see this but been running ang skill 2 with northern vale, get to level 7 quick then make all mosk into zilong havnt lost in 10 matches and i dont even have to interact. Just auto pilot wins try it sometimes 🙏
