Mage Knight Review

I like this deep review. I am about to buy this game (ultimate edition) or Gloomhaven... Which game you guys recommend ? :)

GREAT question, Zilvinas. Out of those two Gloomhaven just BARELY edges Mage Knight out. Barely. I love how many unlockable classes there are in Gloomhaven. Both are card driven games where everything right down to movement is dependent upon your cards. Both have combat with minimal luck, though Gloomhaven does have more luck due to the attack modifier decks. However, they are highly modifiable to mitigate that luck. Both are extremely challenging. In my mind they are both worth having in a collection but you definitely should only go with one at a time. My pick would be Gloomhaven!

Mage Knight has much better gameplay. Much better.

Thanks! For my How to Plays and other videos I'll use a blue felt cover but it's not anything I use while playing normally.
