Yes and its this. Ungoro or not ppl were bitching about Karazhan being too easy. And that they can complete it with only basic and common cards. Now they are bitching about LK being too hard and requiring expensive decks.

Archibald Khali I dont have a problem with expensive decks, you can win most of these with flappy bird. My problem is that they artificially increase "difficulty" by requiring you to draw perfect muligans.

It's pretty much the only way to win against LK as a Mage I think, considering he'll set your HP to 1 at the first turn, unless you have counterspell activated, you'll lose.

I did it with Kabal Lackey + Manabind. Get Fledgeling before or right on turn 3 and then get lucky with Windfury + Cant be targeted. Some taunts to defend yourself and fledgeling. And removable for taunts the lich king plays. And defeat him before he plays frostmourne. I also think i had one of the most beautiful games against the lich king with mage. It was in turn 7. I remember what cards i had in my hand. And how the board was. And what the lich kings health was. And even what adapts fledgeling had. That turn i was thinking for 20 minutes straight to think how to get lethal. And i found exact lethal something with polymorph and getting windfury from vicious. I was like screaming in the room cuz i finally beat it with mage. I,m a f2p so it was really really hard to beat it with hunter and mage.. mage was the hardest. And i did warrior with rotface. Eazy win. And there is a bug with paladin and tirion fordring. I did paladin first try lul.

It's actually not that odd of a decision. Freeze decks tend to dump the blizzard out first if they don't need the extra mana on that particular turn. The damage is usually irrelevant, and you're just running it because you can't fit 4 frost novas in your deck.

I know this is old but this is no way the easiest strat to beat lk with mage, run molten giants and murlocs with dreadscale knight. Molten giants on turn 1 is pretty solid and lk likes to use obliterate on anything with lifesteal.

For those running though the frozen throne (I know it's late but some cards are worth picking up from it if your new) just run murlocs. Use the same principle, of getting the luck of draw and getting counter spell with free cost then spam murlocs, he'll go hyper aggressive on trying to kill the biggest one so you can decided if you want to buff just 1 or many. It's kinda embarrassing how the freakin litch king is beaten so easly by fish I beat it turn 5 and got the achievement.

Man, I remember when a I used exodia against the Lich King. It took me 152 restarts with me only getting the counterspell and lackey 34 times. I kept track with tally marks, and geez that was a pain in the butt to count afterwards haha. Anyway, well done!
