Writing Tip for writers: When pierced by a knife, arrow or any puncture weapons that haven’t been taken out yet you wouldn’t take the object out the minute you see it. The objects is blocking a lot of bleeding so if you were to remove the object make sure your characters have the supplies at hand. Hope you all enjoy the tip.

This is certainly more than a writing tip! It's definitely true in real life that it's usually best to leave the object in the wound until other ways to control the bleeding are prepared. 😁👍 In this script, I think the listener is concerned about preventing any more of the poison from leaching into his body, and I like to imagine that we happened to have some form of packing and temporary bandages with us for controlling the bleeding.

yeah-heah! the right thing to do is to pack *around* the foreign object to stop it from wiggling around and dealing any more damage+apply pressure around the wound/with a tourniquette!

Yeah I have pretty bad blood flow in my hands so they're always kinda cold but when they're in colder temperatures they go full on purple, you can see every vein in my hand and they just change color from the rest of my arms It's creepy

Also, when he said that prince of elves is not exactly the same as a prince of humans, I have a feeling it has a whole lot to do with why he insists on not intruding on this human's life. All in all, Wonderful job as always, Mage! I'm excited to find out what else is in store for these two!

I currently don’t have plans for a part 2, but it’s not out of the realms of possibility, just don’t have a solid idea of where to take it plus a bunch of other stories I’d like to try first. Hey Kiwi, cheers! The elvish was in Tokien's Quenya language, "Mime gwelu gir na- quanta -o anann hála". It doesn't translate exactly, I had to tweak the wording slightly since Quenya doesn't have all the words, but it means "My hovercraft is full of eels," thought it was a great opportunity to sneak in a Monty Python reference! More literally it's closer to "My flying boat is full of long fish" or something like that but close enough
