Im Not gonna lie the way they made maggie so weak now. I mean like she can only see the future and change emotions of others and herself. and with her old powers she could change the thoughts of others Hear the thoughts of others Communicate to Ghosts/Spirits and Make RAW ENERGY out of her own Emotions. I haven't seen the show yet (tho I was a big fan of the original), but I wish they had used a different visual effect for her Pathokinesis tbh. I think it would have been cooler as remote ability, instead of her releasing magical energy from her hands (which is a lot more conspicuous & less convenient). If they still wanted to use a visual effect for when she uses her ability, maybe they could have her eyes glow pink while using the power, like: - Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, Thor, Monica Rambeau (MCU) - Fairies (Fate: Winx Saga) - Starlight (The Boys) - Storm (X-Men) - Esme Frost (The Gifted) - Mera (Aquaman) - Jefferson Pierce, Jennifer Pierce (Black Lightning) - Aang (ATLA) - Korra (LOK) Along w/ the effect of energy glowing under their skin (like Jennifer Pierce in Black Lighting & Miles Morales in the Spider Man PS5 game).

Tbh her emotion power seems pretty strong. Being able to manipulate how somebody feels could allow her to virtually dispatch any enemy that isn’t an emotionless robot.

everything u just said I agree 100 percent. I have been saying this for years about phoebes power and now Maggie. if they are going to make Maggie the witch of emotion then they really need to write better ways for her use it in battle. I hate when she uses that stick when she literally has magic flowing through her. battle spells and combat magic is the way to go. in fact she has done this a few times in previous seasons. her premonitions, empathy and telepathy are good for certain situations but they need to make her more reliant on combat magic and battle spells because they have done it in the past
