In the walking dead you get interested in a show because you connect with a character or, characters; for me that's Glenn and Maggie they both want to make a mark on the world and with the way the world is in the walking dead they not only gave themselves something to hold onto but something to live for as well.

This is the #1 reason why I feel it's essential for Glenn to stay alive. Maggie has basically lost her whole family.And to tear Glenn from her just because that's the way it happened in the comic book isn't a good enough reason in my opinion. Sometimes it's hard to see how a character's story line will progress if certain things are not followed with the adaptation; having Glenn die shouldn't be a good enough reason. Maggie's lost enough leave her baby and leave Glenn alone, that's all I'm saying.
