'when you take away all of my defenses and i tell you exactly how im feeling how could you possibly hurt me.' Its like she's reading my soul. A lot of love for this girl.

Her submission to the "it is" moments of life is highlighted by the way she uses the word inevitably. Trusting in the inevitability of life allows you to just flow freely, and if you listen to her story, thats exactly how she got to where she is. Trusting in the inevitable and submitting to it.

She was amazing when she played in Toronto, we cheered so hard for her; I know what she means by "unity" in live performance, she cast her spell over all of us with that solo opening number. She's cool :)

I feel for Maggie, having to talk about that video at nearly every interview, answering the same questions. Nothing against the interviewer here though...just part of the promotion business..although... "When did you start writing music?" states for the third time that it was when she was 13. Not sure if he's star-struck or just not listening.

An incredible insight that she realized and speaks to when saying that genre only exists to sell music; it doesn't really exist when you're creating it. This is the essence of what inspiration really is; i.e., inspiration doesn't 'think' about genre when the muse amazes the mind and sets the heart ablaze.

Great interview got really deep quickly and yet answered a lot of questions long articles skipped over. Of course it's Maggie Rogers sincerity that brings real tears of joyous insight but O Canada the CBC delivered the goods.

This is just the most amazing interview with an artist, in large part because Maggie is just so herself. Which is something we all can do and be. She gives so much hope in some of the most simple, basic ways. But also, kudos to the interviewer. :)

It's incredibly real. I've had it since I can remember, and I remember being a kid and realizing that not everyone interprets the world that way. Just a facet of our multi-dimensionality, I believe anyone can open themselves to it.
