Happy birthday, Maggi! 🎂🎉 So good to see you both so happy 🥰🎉 Mmm kantareller in Norwegian! (& you asked re the Kånken 13 inch laptop & crossbody combo, and it worked well. The best was the customs agent who asked where my luggage was & I said I had only carryon, and he asked where THAT was, so I turned to show him the tiny backpack …his eyebrows were very surprised! But I did bring a packable duffel & ended up checking a bag on the way home. Gifts from Mom & a cousin etc… but it worked. I would do this again and we may for a trip home to Alaska in November. Layers & wearing them… I think it will work for winter if my husband and I share electronics & toiletries. & it helps that we are very casual in Alaska. We shall see!) Lovely woods and is THAT how edelweiss looks?! Lovely.

Thank you! Yes, I heard about that family in Australia, as far as I heard the think they ate a death cap. I only pick the mushrooms I can identify with 100% certainty, which are only two kinds. I know there are a lot more that would be edible, but I leave them all behind. Better safe than sorry. :)

Thank you! Well, I don‘t really have a recipe. If I make it for two people, I usually just roast on onion, then add some garlic and the mushrooms (about half the bucket that you can see in the video) and roast it until the water comes out. Then I add some salt and parts of a stock cube and pepper and some cream and let it cook a little bit longer until the mushrooms are done. And before I serve it, I add fresh parsley. Some people add paprika powder to it, but I personally think that fresh parsley and garlic are a mushrooms best friends. If it is too fluid, I bind it with some flour. But usually I don‘t, because I use A LOT of mushrooms (compared to how they serve it in a restaurant, where it‘s more sauce than mushrooms… 😅)
