OMG! Before I got into luxury bags 2 yrs ago, I had and still have 2 Lululemon bum bags including the one you have! I’m a Personal Trainer so I love Lululemon clothing. In the summer I would go to fairs and festivals which is why I bought the Lululemon bum bags. I’m Asian and 5’1 and 120 and was worried that it would be too big on my frame... great review!

I'm 5"3 and I actually really liked it. I was afraid at first just bc it is A LOT bigger than a typical bum bag so I honestly recommend trying it on in person first before making the purchase!!

You should order Apple Garde for conditioning and protecting the vachetta leather. It actually helps with evening the patina as well

I was wondering if your bumbag had any issues with the canvas cracking. I’ve heard that some bumbags have cracking on the canvas especially on the 4 corners of the back zipper. Also, something that concerns me are the folds near the straps.

So far I haven’t had any issues with the canvas BUT my bag is very new. It’s not even a year old yet! But I totally agree about the folds in the strap, that’s why I hold back on adjusting it often because I don’t want it to patina unevenly have it crease.

I read in a forum that some people had problems with their canvas cracking(especially on the four corners of the back zipper) and their CAs deemed the bags defective. So that kinda scared me. But I absolutely love the bag, it’s so comfortable to wear. I also think that it’s a smidge big.

Hello! Is the top handle the same color as the strap when you purchased it or was the top handle slightly darker that the strap handle? like the handle looks a bit patina? I got mine today and confused why the vachetta leather is not the same color tone all around?

My bag’s vachetta is the same all around! But I know my bum bag was stored in the dust bag in a drawer at the store (because they just received it). I do know that sometimes of course when stores only have one bag left they might possibly give you the bag on display or the bag was returned from a previous customer who changed their mind!

I honestly would too! Just like when I initially went to see a Bum Bag the front vachetta tab was severely creased. They told me it was the only one left in that location, but it's like if I'm paying that price it better be perfect. When you return it just ask them to check in their system of what surrounding LV stores carry the bum bag if you still want it. That's what I did and I was able to find one that was damage free :)

Wilson Sim ive worn it with black dresses and no stain. However I would be careful with denim. If you have maybe a brand new denim jacket or something I always like to wash my denim pieces a couple times before using them against my bags!

Hi, i am thinking of buying the lv bumbag, i saw a preloved one, the d ring and the strap seems plasticky feel compared w he others. Is yours like this too?

Mine doesn’t feel plasticky at all, But again mine is still so new so the vachetta is still super light and there isn’t a solid patina yet. Over time the residue from your hands and air can affect the feel of the vachetta if it isn’t taken care of properly.

I honestly was debating between this one and this burberry bum bug. Burberry has this small one that's super understated and the price point is really good too. Tbh I might get the burberry one later bc it's significantly more compact and travel friendly but I definitely need to see it in person first. But going back to your question, I chose this one mainly because of the size and material! xx

maggyxchuu thank you! 😊 I would definitely buy this bumbag if the zipper flap doesn’t require you to flip open before you can unzip (or else you will destroy the canvas). It seem like a lot of work for a bag that’s supposed to be casual. But I like its size and material so I’m not sure 🤔 it would be the perfect bag for me if LV can come out with a bumbag that’s more understated (still with the hoop underneath) like in the DE or DA pattern, and then change the zipper flap
