Hello all and welcome to an other adventure, this time we will start from Gear Lapsi and my aim is to go the Maghalaq Valley and find a rock cut stairs and find where it leads too. For those who follow me its mo secret I love this area, sea is beautiful, full of history and scenery is amazing.

That was fascinating I didn't want it to end, there is some good history there, I think the steps were very old and if only we knew what they done them for, all that work there were many of them . You are correct with the tracks. I travelled the Galapagos Islands 2019 and all tracks had pegs to stay between. They really care about conservation and it makes sense. Nice video and the steps amaze me like Malta’s temples.

STEPPING THROUGH HISTORY AND GREAT VIEWS 🌿 🌊 ☀ 😲. I'm still amazed at all those steps cut out in the rocks, although, I do realise that the area was well inhabited during the "Phoenicians' period. Hello Pierre, thanks so much for sharing another trekking vlog at the Ghar Lapsi area and heading to Maghalaq Valley. Although it was somehow gloomy the quality of the video was still outstanding with beautiful views all around you. Regarding the rock cut steps it depends the era when were dug as, if one can do a professional examination of the surroundings he/she can easily conclude their benefit use. Maybe there were dwellings used by hunters or fishermen, maybe it was even military work for coastal surveillance. It's my theory and maybe I'm wrong but still it is a very interesting fact were one hope to find out more about it. Thanks Pierre and well done to skip the 5K.😊 👍👍

It looks like a good corral to heard animals into for the kill or trap for domestication but i don’t think Malta had any large animals besides the miniature hippo which wasn’t big at all. Maybe wild goats were imported by early settlers? It does make a good Oasis to live in Summer and possibly live off the sea.
