I lived at 421 Elm St next to 411 Elm St until 1/21/74. Front porch at 411 Elm St added after I left 421 Elm St.

That's so cool! Can you share any memories that would be interesting to fans of the Addams Family?

@@Joelikesmoviesnstuff Yes, when I lived there I don't remember Addams Fest or the hotel. I do remember Finast Foods, the hardware store, the A&P and Woolworth all had hardwood floors at one time, I frequented The Play Fair (back parking lot entrance/exit), Rialto, Music Staff, Hill's Ice Cream, Memorial Library, playground at Mindowaskin Park, Geiger's & the train station. It was a symphony for the sense in all 4 seasons. Spring the smells of flowers filled the air & nose. Summer the smells of cookouts & sounds of patriotic music and quick marches for the ears. Fall the smells of apple cider and candy and sights of spooky Halloween decorations. And in Winter Christmas lights & decorations & music filled the downtown area in the stores there. It is the backdrop of the fictional town of Western Bay, OR in my 13 chapter novels with each chapter = a week so, 13 chapters = 13 weeks, a TV series season. Mrs Whitehead at TRJHS now RIS, with the British accent, inspired me to write like so. She wasn't my teacher, though. Learned to write in various codes in 8th grade on my own to save time & paper & keep others at bay. And contrary to what my classmates and their mothers believed, my mother's sewing customers were their mothers, 421 Elm St was never in its now 124 year history a funeral home or haunted. The original owner lost the family fortune on 10/29/29 when the stock market crashed & dropped dead on the floor of the Red Room right of the center hall. It was the coldest room therein year round but not by his ghost. More likely the gaps in the sides of the window installed in 1900, with the ropes & brass weights, and in the shade of the roof over the porch bigger than most N.Y.C. apartments & pine trees. Great for napping after doing the gardening in the Spring-Fall.
