A lot has happened in the past day and I’m excited to share that I was successfully able to transfer to Ashwinder after having the Migrate ID glitch. I wanted to share how I did it. I would just be patient and wait for them to work the bugs out. We have just under two months still before the game shuts down. Plenty of time to transfer still with a dodgey method if necessary.

Most of the refugees went to Ashwinder, and for the first time, I had a queue waiting time. My friend literally have to wait around 20 mins before entering. I hope you can recommend the refugees to the other servers in your next video.

@@KaturaYT yeah. My main has the migrate bug. NE support finally responded with a dif answer than the stuff everyone has been posting on Reddit. They said their technical team has been made aware of the issue and that they're working on a solution. I unbound and made the guest dummy but it doesn't do anything when I put in the code. Just says "code was used" and nothing 🥲

I’m such an impatient person urgh, I want to transfer rn so that I can buy all the outfits before the 3rd anniversary event ends… but I wanna wait for an official announcement as well. I’ll post on my community page as soon as I can if they do. I’m currently playing it on my iPad; so it can be played on mobile. If you have an android device, it's going to be easier than IOS. I have both devices but I only transferred on my Android and not IOS. IOS IS WAY TOO ANNOYING SO I GAVE UP AT THE END

I dont really understand how you can use the code again because if i start a new account and use the code, it still just says "code used" so basically i cant use it again. And as you said the old bugged account continues to exist and doesn't get overwritten

I ended up transferring her into a different account not the bugged one. I’m not sure why I could use my code again; I mentioned in the video that someone had reached out to me saying their friend had the “code used” message and weren’t able to use it again. I also heard from another person having this issue last night. I suggest reaching out to Netease in the game, go to Settings-(top right)Service-Chat- and in that to get away from AI chat, type in “customer service” It will allow you to send a message to actual customer service and they take 1-3 days to get back to people. And let them know that multiple people are experiencing this so they know it’s something they should be on. I’m also keeping an eye out for anyone with a solution for this issue and will comment here if I see a solution.

Kinda hate having different looks and furniture progress on the new account and not the old one though... Dont think i can clear the wheel on both ;)

I’ve heard the server has been really busy today; I know a lot of people suggest Sphinx or Erumpent instead since Ashwinder/Thunderbird is so crowded. But they might also make another server because of this. Definitely could be good to wait and see.

How can i contact the customer service. In the game there is an AI can't go after that. Please help me, my transfer had failed. Bcz, i used the code in Thunderbird server. the game resets but, when i switch to ashwinder and when i go, the old account i had in ashwinder is running. Not the transferred character. The code is once used. So, i can even the tranfer on new netease account too. Please guide me to contact the customer service

So in Settings in the top right there is service button the headphone icon, which I think you already went to to get to AI, but within that click Contact Us, and then in there type in Customer Service. It will take you to a chat with a real person but they do take 1-3 days to answer.

So it definitely seems like your character info is there, that’s good. You could choose to write Netease, and wait for them to give you an answer for the specific problem; or you could try some of the steps I did if you feel like trying again. I can’t guarantee what I did will work for everyone though, as there are still glitches happening.

You can transfer to Ashwinder but right now it’s not recommended because it’s so full. People this morning with the House Cup and fireworks had to wait up to 20 minutes to get in. Are you wondering how to download Netease on ios or just the transfer process in general?

Just be aware that Ashwinder is incredibly full and for the House Cup this morning people had to wait in a queue to get on, some for 20 minutes. Sphinx is one that’s not so overloaded. I believe it’s in Africa.

So you unbound your bugged account? Then started over on a guest account with no log in and did character code ? On ashwinder

My bugged account is still there; as well as the second account I had tried on and it didn’t work. But from that second account I “started a new guest account” (the reset option) and it started a new guest account for me, went straight into the game as a guest and at Madam Malkins went into settings and did the transfer. As soon as the transfer went through, I then bound that account to a new Netease account to make sure it was protected.

Did you link your successfully transferred character to a Netease account? If so, just log back into that Netease account to go to it. (The wizard icon in the top right will take you to the menu where you can switch between accounts)

I assume you’re on android since you said playstore. People said they were able to successfully redownload their old WB version by looking up “Past App Purchases” and reinstalling from there.

Hi! So Netease has responded to people saying that your Netease character you write over will get wiped. Some people successfully transferred over a character that had been played, and others had issues. For me I did it with a brand new guest account not bound to Netease; that’s what worked for me. But you haven’t tried the transfer yet and it might be good to wait a bit until the glitches are taken care of. I know a lot of people recommend making the character the same house as your main, but in my guest account that worked I only made it to Madam Malkin’s and went straight to settings from there to enter my code. So she didn’t have a house.

I suggest proceeding with caution; but after the confirmations to several people from Netease in customer service today; it seems to be working a lot better for people. Again, I can’t guarantee it won’t have a glitch, but it does seem Netease is working on fixing these glitches and they are acknowledging the ability to transfer now.

We have until October 29th until the WB servers are gone. I was able to use my code three times, but I also know of someone that could only use it once and got the “code already used” message when they tried again. So if you feel uncomfortable; it would be better to wait.

Yes it seems there are quite a few people experiencing this; I did mention one that had told me about that in the video. I don’t know why I could use mine multiple times but it could be like achnix3167 said above; maybe they unlocked it after I had contacted them and they got back to me. Because they did say the issue was fixed and for me to basically try again. I’m not sure if that’s what it was but it could be. My best advice to everyone having this issue is to reach out to them in game and let them know this is an issue multiple people are having. Looks like you already reached out :). I will be keeping my eyes open to see if anyone has a solution for this, and will let you know if I find one.

It’s weird because on my initial alt account in Netease I easily used my PayPal in my new iTunes account. With this transfer I couldn’t do that anymore. BUT, it you bind to NGP in game, and go there from the events page, you can top up from there with a card or your PayPal and it’s fairly easy. Plus you get bonuses for topping up from there. Very easy and I don’t have to worry about switching my iTunes region/account while doing it.

I didn’t, and because my name was already taken in Ashwinder by the first account I made; my character just took on the name I gave the guest account I made to transfer to.

I did it now because I had already made my alt in Ashwinder with a lot of friends; and when people first started transferring, I had woken up, saw ppl were transferring successfully and tried (I hadn’t seen anything about glitches) Mine glitched, got stuck in limbo in the server, and I tried again to finish the transfer and it worked that last time. Makes perfect sense to wait though, and try to hold out for a server with better ping. I haven’t really noticed issues for me when playing (yet).

@@hunterfillfam2307 that’s happening to a lot of people right now. Best thing to do at the moment is to contact customer support in game and tell them about it. The more people they hear from the more they know it’s a widespread problem. To contact them go to Settings-Service (headphone icon in the top right)-Chat- then type “customer service” in chat to send a message to a real person.

I think so, but I haven’t tried it. In the starting page, click the Wizard icon on the top right and you can see that it has an “Account Deletion” option. I’m not sure what this entails; so use at your own risk.

After you’ve transferred your code to a guest character; you’ll have to make sure to bind your account to a Netease account to keep it safe if anything happens. You can do that from the first game menu, the character icon, and it will have the option to bind. You can create a Netease account with an email address and you don’t have to say you’re in Asia, you can put wherever you actually are for your location on your Netease account.

Your WB character will be gone after the servers shut down on Oct 29th. Until then; it’s like having two versions of the same character on different servers. They don’t interact with each other but you can get into both.

I used ios, for the one that worked I went as a guest. As soon as I hit Madam Malkin’s I entered the code in the settings there. When I was successful, that’s when I bound it to a new Netease account.
