Anna mine arrived early this week. Set up my LK150, read the instructions and realized I needed to see the video. I'm usually a pretty quick learner, however this time I'm baffled. Guess I will have to watch several times for this tutorial is rather speedy.

Ok, remember that you can pause the video. Make sure to set your row counter to zero. Your carriage should be in hold on the right and slip on the left. With zero in the lower right hand corner facing you, line up the edge of Buffalo with your first needle and mark the where the arrows are for this first row. Select, knit 2 rows. Your row counter should now read 2 so find the 2 on the selector and select making sure the arrows line up with where you marked the arrows. Knit 2 rows, etc.

@@AnnaHaferman what about having a series of stitch selectors in a package that were numbered in sequence so we could do pattern work like argyle and other punch card designs? This seems like it has a lot of potential! Can't wait to get mine and start knitting. Thanks for having such great tutorial videos!😊

Always enjoyed your work, ingenuity and educational skill. You are kind of a natura l!!! Many thanks for your sharing of tutorials. A question about the above template and pattern though: How do you extend the template of the pattern horizontally (say, to the left) one or more times? Do you simply start from the first needle on the left of the first pattern or do you skip a position? I observed that if you start right after you are left with a space of six needles instead of seven in most places the original pattern. Actually only under the 0-4-8-12 sequence there are 6 needle positions as opposed to 7 everywhere else.

This pattern selector is niffty. I have a version of Brother kx390 that does 4.5mm and 9mm gauges. I watch your videos and can translate your techniques to my machine.

I see you made one for the brother knitting machine. Do you think you will make one for the bond knitting machine?
@AnnaHaferman3 ай бұрын
I don't think it would work on the Bond machines. This works because the LK150 and KX350 have part and hold levers. As far as I know there is no way to part/slip on the Bond unless you hand-manipulate the stitches.

@@AnnaHaferman weirdly KZbin won't let me add a comment of my own. I can only reply. Anyway just wanted to say the title of this video was extremely confusing until I actually clicked into the video!! 😂😂 I'm having a good laugh about that this morning. Hi Anna can this be used with the Bond knitting machine
@AnnaHaferman4 ай бұрын
No, it can’t. The Bond is an 8 mm machine and this tool is spaced for a 6.5 mm machine. Also, as far as I know the Bond doesn’t have slip levers so it wouldn’t function the same way even if it was the same size.
@conselfquence3898 ай бұрын
Hi, I have a LK100 which is very similar to the LK150 except it doesn't have the levers, the carriage only has a tension dial. Would this needle selector/pattern still work if I can only move the carriage across back and forth, being unable to select "hold" or "slip" or any other such features, since mine doesn't have those levers?
@AnnaHaferman8 ай бұрын
No, it won't. You can hold the needles by simply pulling them out to hold but it won't slip so this wouldn't work. Also, as of now I only have this selector in 6.5 mm gauge (LK150) and not 9 mm gauge (LK 100.)
