this is the best review so far!! the guy shows how you put the cup on the blender, NO-ONE else does this!!! it is handy to note that the blade is in a screw on lid so you dont spill any of the contents!!

Wrong blade, shoulda used the flat blade for the sugar too, and just push and twist to keep it on.

I bought this a few years ago - it doesn't make half the stuff it orginally claimed to, nor does it do it in 10 seconds! The plastic cups eventually wear out and crack, but I still use it for making milk-shakes. That's about all it's good for imo.

@mrdewgood yeah i have one and only the whipping blade works.. i can only use it for whipping egg whites or fresh whipped cream, even when i tryed it for scrambling eggs, the eggs turned into all foam and didnt cook right and i only held it down for 2 secs

I think that was a fair review. I've heard good and bad about the magic bullet. One question though. Why not twist and leave the mug on for the milk shake? Why keep pulsing and shakeing like that

For Salsa, you need to squeeze some lemon juice in it to blend together.

i got a bella kitchen rocket blender, which is basically the same thing, and i just used it for the first time to make a milkshake; i must admit, i'm pretty impressed. the thing makes a pretty damn good milkshake

I love this machine but mostly for making smoothies. It does a great job in seconds. I make healthy smoothies all the time and its worth the price just for that. It doesn't take much space and I leave it on the counter. Most other devices are kind of in the way It doesn't do that great with salsa type chopping I puree soups in batches. Only two in our household so I do think it does well if you don't expect too much.

Seems like a more fair review than a lot of the other products he has reviewed. I wanted a magic bullet until I saw this. That sugar did NOT come out as powdered sugar lol.

You probably didn't do some stuff right. I got the magic bullet and it's great! The trick is to pick up the whole machine and pulse and shake. It works everytime!

that sir is why you put the onion in first give it a couple of pulses put the tomato in give in a couple of pulses add the rest and then make the salsa

Big thing missing in this review as that the motor has like a 4 minute duty cycle. Notice in the infomercial all the magic bullets sitting there. The reason is these machines won't do 6 drinks 1 after the other, it'll overheat! That high torque motor has to cool. Think starter in your car.

Glad I watched this review. I thought I wanted a magic bullet to replace my bulky food processor, but this thing just looks annoying the way you have to press on top, and doesn't do a great job anyway. I'll just stick to my Bamix stick blender

the cups arent actually microwave safe. it says that several times in the manuel thing and on the box. the bullet really sucks at grinding fruit and forget even trying ice.

you need the small cup for the salsa or it will be to much space and it wont realy hit the blade

I ordered the Magic Bullet from Amazon but they sent me the "Amazing" bullet. Are they made by the same company or have I been conned? I can't even find an official website for the Amazing Bullet, it just leads me back to the Magic bullet.

I bought the MagicBullit from the TV infomercial and you no what after 5 X use with receipt 's from the booklet the MagicBullit didn't do no mixing anymore, not even water. I looked inside the base and saw that the connection with the mixing piece was totally gone only a small part was left on the axle. I than tried for a replacement and they would sent me number to put on the package for sending the part, that's now about 2 years ago and still no reaction, not even after about 10 X re sending the mail, I still have the complete mailbox inc the trash box and junk mail box with mail from 1978(I backup weekly). About 2 month's ago II threw the engine part and the cutting parts away, kept the cups for the children. The Magic Bullit and a lot of TV infomercial stuff is rubbish, just like the cheap one day actions in your mail. I bought myself a 1.5 ltr blender for four times the money the MagicBullit cost in a specialty shop for kitchen utensils, but it's worth it because after two years and in use more than 5 X a day he works flawless.

He keeps using the large mixing container, which you're really not supposed to do with such a small amount of product becuase it takes a long time to come back from the top.

I hate when people that don't have a clue will say a blender like this "grinds your coffee beans". It doesn't grind coffee beans, it chops them at high speed, and the blades heat up and scorch the beans when chopping them. And you really don't want to scorch your beans if you actually like drinking coffee...

I was actually lured in by the infomercials. i had heard by word of mouth that it was a pretty crap product but I'd never seen it in action for myself save for the infomercial which does make it seem like the best invention by man. Ha. I'm so glad I stumbled upon The Ninja Master and your reviews. My mind is set on the Ninja Master. :)

I agree with you. The magic bullet sucks... Mine worked well for a couple of weeks and then I found I had to add liquid to everything just to get it too blend. Very crappy product. The only thing work keeping was the party mugs and the mixing cups for microwaving and refrigerating in.

See, it works best for ice drinks and smoothies, basically a blender.

This guy keeps twisting when he pulses, if you twist it will lock in place to blend, all you need to do to pulse is push down and release do not twist. And make sure you use the correct blade for what you are doing.

that wasn't powdered sugar.. the ground coffee wasn't consistently ground.. the carrots were mush, the salsa looked like barf.. the ONLY thing its good for is making drinks. epic fail for 50$

how is it that pro is that 'it's easy to use' and you had such a hard time with it. you were pulsing and twisting. I think you should have posted that as a con, I think it was hard for you to use... and the sugar didn't look like powder sugar either. No hating though! this product does suck though. Notice how quickly they cut the ground coffee segment.. it was SUPER coarse and guaranteed there was whole or half beans further down in the cup. And yes.. fail on the powdered sugar! PLUS.. all that terrible pulsing he was doing totally killed the cog on the bottom of the cup. I have one of these and they are CRAP. You can't even make decent guacamole in this unless the avacadoes are insanely ripe. Nevermind icy drinks..
