On another note: I just realized why the name of Dune 2021's director, Denis Villeneuve, seemed familiar: Turns out I simply saw that surname on several Magic cards before. Narset and Chandra (Torch of Defiance) being some of the more prominent ones. Magali Villeneuve has a quite distinctive style, which feels exhalted, ornate, and rather "crisp" - which lends itself for the separation of space you mentioned at 1:17
